The Weddings For Warriors Project was created by members of the Savannah Wedding Tourism Council of Savannah, GA to provide free weddings and vow renewals for active duty military personnel. On Veterans Day, 2009 the Weddings For Warriors Project provided six individual weddings and thirty individual vow renewals to members of the Army, Coast Guard and Marine Corps. All branches of the military were invited to participate.
